Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to every app in the Unseen Progress portfolio — currently all 18 apps: AnxietyStrong, BrainStrong, CareStrong, DownStrong, FocusStrong, LearnStrong, MealStrong, MuteStrong, ParkinStrong, PawStrong, SeizureStrong, SensoryStrong, SpectrumStrong, SpeechStrong, StepStrong, StrokeStrong, StutterStrong, and TicStrong.

All of these apps are built on the same engine and follow the same data practices. This policy describes those practices. Any new Unseen Progress app added in the future is automatically covered by this page without a separate update.

The short version

  • We don't collect your data. Everything you enter stays on your device in a private database.
  • We don't have accounts. You never sign up. You never sign in. There is no username, email, or password associated with the app.
  • We don't have servers. There is no backend for your app data to be sent to. The apps work fully offline.
  • We don't track you. No analytics, no pixels, no third-party SDKs logging your behaviour.
  • We can't read your data. Even if we wanted to. It's on your phone, not on a computer we own.

What the apps store

When you use one of our apps, the app stores the following on your device in a local database (IndexedDB on web, the equivalent on mobile):

  • Your onboarding answers (role, context, demographics you entered at setup)
  • Your daily check-in entries (ratings, optional notes, timestamps)
  • Anything you've written in the notes fields
  • Audio recordings you choose to make using the voice-note feature (only if the app has that feature — most do not)
  • Your progress through the in-app course, if the app has one
  • Your app preferences and settings

This data never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app deletes it.

What the apps do NOT store

  • Your name, email address, or phone number. We never ask.
  • Your contacts, photos, location, or calendar.
  • Any identifier that could be used to re-identify you.
  • Any data about other apps on your device.

Purchases

If you choose to buy a subscription or one-time purchase inside one of our apps, the purchase is processed by Apple's App Store or Google Play, not by us. We use RevenueCat to verify that a purchase is valid so the app can unlock premium features. RevenueCat sees an anonymous per-install identifier — it does not know who you are. We never see your payment information at any point.

App Store analytics (outside our control)

Apple and Google both provide limited, aggregated crash reports and install counts to developers of apps listed on their stores. We can see things like "how many people installed the app yesterday" and "how many times the app crashed last week." We cannot see who those people are or what they did in the app.

If you do not want Apple or Google to share this aggregated information, you can disable it in your device settings.

Children

Our apps are designed for adults — parents, caregivers, partners, pet owners. They are not directed at children and do not knowingly collect information from children. Since we do not collect any information at all, this is doubly true.

Changes to this policy

If we change how any of our apps handle data, we will update this page. Because the apps all use the same data model, one policy covers all of them.
